Michael A. Goldfarb is an accomplished trial lawyer with more than thirty years of experience resolving complex commercial cases through mediation, arbitration, and trial, in both state and federal courts.  The continuous focus of Mike’s practice since 1983 has been in the area of commercial litigation.  He has tried and arbitrated numerous cases in the courts in the state of Washington and elsewhere, including California, Ohio, and New York.  In the last several years, Mike defended the Snohomish County PUD against multi-million dollar claims by Enron, successfully brought claims against the Bonneville Power Administration in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and tried cases in both state and federal courts.

Prior to forming Goldfarb & Huck Roth Riojas, PLLC, Mike practiced locally for several years and, in 1990, co-founded a firm which became Rohan, Goldfarb, Rafel & Shapiro.  In 2000, Mike founded The Law Office of Michael A. Goldfarb and subsequently joined Peterson Young Putra in 2008.  Mike received a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Washington in 1983, and he periodically serves as an instructor in the University of Washington trial advocacy program.
